A workshop built on craftsmanship, not cover-ups.
Islas Restoration was founded on a simple frustration: too many shops in the GTA were spraying bondo over rust and calling it a repair. We do the opposite - cut, fabricate, weld, restore. Every job.
We're a family-run auto body shop in Markham, Ontario, focused entirely on rust restoration, structural metal repair, and select installation work for customers from Thornhill and Toronto. That focus is intentional. It's not a side service or an upsell - it's the whole shop.
After years of doing this work, we've seen what happens when rust gets covered instead of fixed. It always comes back - usually worse. So we built a workshop equipped to do proper repairs: welders, fabrication tools, an English wheel, a bead roller, and cavity wax equipment.
Every vehicle that leaves our shop gets treated like it's going into another Ontario winter, because it is. We use weld-through primer on every seam, cavity wax inside every enclosed section, and epoxy-based sealers under every panel. It's the difference between a repair that lasts a summer and one that lasts a decade.
Fabrication over replacement
When a factory panel isn't available - or isn't good enough - we build it ourselves in steel.
Structural integrity first
Rocker panels, jack points, and frame rails are welded to pass Ontario safety inspection.
One workmanship standard
Every job - daily driver or restoration project - gets the same standard of welding and finishing.
